Dr. Rangga Almahendra ST MM is a permanent faculty member in FEB Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), an accredited business school by AACSB.

He obtained his Bachelor degree in Engineering from Institute Technology Bandung (ITB) and Master in Management (MBA) from UGM, both with cum laude honors.

He possesses a Doctorate in Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU-Vienna), under the supervision of Prof Bjoern Ambos (University of St. Gallen).

 His research interests lie in strategic alliances, knowledge management and virtual communication. He teaches courses in Strategic Management, Industry and Competition Analysis, Business Communication and negotiation, cross-cultural management , at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. He believes that these topics are vital in preparing leaders to navigate through current and future societal challenges. Rangga also speaks on issues related to entrepreneurship and leadership at conferences and organizations both locally and internationally. Rangga have also participated in many programs organized by prestigious academic institution such as Global Faculty Development Program by Wharton School,  the University of Pennsylvania (2014), Visiting Fellow at Kyoto University (2015, 2016), and an invited guest lecturer at Singapore Management University (SMU), Johannes Kepler University (JKU), and Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU-Vienna)  

Prior to joining academia, he had several years of experience working in multinational companies such as Astra Honda Motor and ABN AMRO. Until then he provides many trainings and consultancies for many firms such as MUFG, Asahi Glass, BRI, Bukopin, Sinarmas, PT KAI, Bank DKI, Pegadaian, BPD DIY, Gama Techno and he is now also appointed as CEO of ADiTV

Rangga also holds more than 20 copyrights of creative works including national best seller novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa, Bulan Terbelah di Langit Amerika and I Am Sarahza; which then had also been adapted into box office movie projects.

Outside of work, Rangga loves to play drum and performs in various charity concerts. As parts of his Campus Social Responsibility initiatives, Rangga and his students also launched Gerakan Bagi Ilmu (bagiilmu.co.id), a multi media collaborative platform to promote knowledge sharing and equal opportunity in education
